2023 Europe on Wheels

The second part of our time on the Camino Frances, picking up in Leon and going all the way east to France.

We returned to the US in August and are settling back into 'normal' life. I'll be posting new videos as I complete them. Here is the first half of the Camino Frances, which we did in reverse of the usual direction toward Santiago de Compostela. Doing the camino on bikes was a totally different experience than being a pilgrim on foot - much faster than walking but without the cameraderie that comes from being on a pilgrimmage with dozens of others that you see day after day. For us, we were happy to not have to deal with the crowds and we could go at our own pace and offer best wishes to the hundreds of pilgrims we saw walking toward Santiago in the opposite direction.
